Ukrainian Resilience: Howard Buffett's 'Courage of a Nation' Photo Book

Howard Buffett showcased the "Courage of a Nation" exhibit at Ukraine House, joining a discussion on the crucial need for ongoing support for Ukraine. Alongside Ukraine’s Ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, they touched on Ukrainian identity and the determination to live in a free country.

He shared his journey of discovering Ukraine, progressing from his initial visit to profound admiration for the country and its people. 'Ukrainians have shifted from their routine lives. I'm impressed by their efforts to protect their country and freedom. It's very unusual and powerful,' Buffett affirmed. He emphasized that the world mustn't miss its second chance to aid Ukraine in defending not only its territory but the entire continent.

Buffett urged decisiveness, insisting it's time to provide Ukrainians with the weapons and support they need. As long as Ukrainians persevere, so should their allies.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Howard Buffett and his foundation for their tremendous support of Ukraine, including projects aiding civilians in Bucha (Kyiv oblast) and Lozova (Kharkiv oblast). He also contributed by purchasing generators for schools and hospitals and rehabilitating infrastructure destroyed by Russians.

Special thanks to Michael O'Hanlon, a senior fellow and director of research in Foreign Policy at the Brookings Institution, for skillfully moderating the discussion.
