Ukraine Remember Also Me: Testimonies from the War Award-Winning artist George Butler

Ukraine House was honored to host the book presentation of Ukraine Remember Also Me: Testimonies from the War by award-winning artist George Butler. Through his reporting on the war in Ukraine, Butler has created intimate and powerful illustrations that introduce the world to the people behind the headlines. These portraits of war and conflict serve as a poignant reminder of our shared humanity and the universal need for peace.

The event also featured a panel discussion, moderated by Ambassador William B. Taylor. We were privileged to hear from distinguished speakers: George Butler, Olena Davlikanova from the Center for European Policy Analysis, and a Public Health professor from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. They explored the importance of telling these stories, the resilience of Ukrainians, and the mental health challenges and recovery issues facing Ukraine.

Guests had the opportunity to purchase and sign the book, with part of the proceeds going to the Superhumans Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation in Lviv. We thank everyone who joined us for this meaningful evening. We hope this book will help you share Ukraine's story with the world.
