Miretsky, born in Kyiv in 1939, overcame Soviet persecution to become an internationally recognized artist. His journey—from activism to artistic freedom in the U.S.—is reflected in his powerful work. We hosted the exhibition of never-before-seen landscapes, these works capture Ukraine’s serene beauty before the 2022 Russian invasion, reminding us that its spirit endures. The exhibition was held at Ukraine House during spring 2025.
