This art project is dedicated to the young Ukrainian women who either gave birth or were expecting to give birth while escaping russian shelling of Ukrainian cities.

Every woman has her own story. Transported and accompanied by their husbands, once the women had reached safety of Lviv, their husbands returned to the frontlines. Over 100 pregnant women arrived in Lviv since the war started on February 24, 2022. But when approached, only a few agreed to participate in this artistic project. The rest were emotionally devastated, exhausted and scared.
